Under Running overhead cranes travel on the bottom flange of a runway beam, and are typically supported by the building structure in order to maximize the height inside the building. Our cranes are manufactured to meet CMAA class specifications from A through F, depending on your required duty cycle. We also supply both free-standing and column-mounted runway systems for all cranes.
Like Top Running cranes, Under Running cranes are offered in either single or double girder designs, depending on your capacity and span requirements. Single girder designs have reduced wheel loads, allowing you to save on new support structures over the years, while double girder cranes have higher load capacities and offer a better height of lift since the hook travels between beams.
